That really is too bad for Dobbs.
Pat Mac was a good friend of my wife's...and in the short time I got to know him was one of the most stand-up guys I have ever met in my life. I miss the times we shared just shooting the over a beer at a GFOA conference! I never knew about Pat's football accomplishments until after he passed...I wish I did though because I would have loved to listen to his stories about playing for Ansonia!Best News in a Long time. Welcome Mr Newsome!
May your fb career be as successful at UConn's level as your old Ansonia alums Pat, Tim, and Terry McNamara's were at Trinity.
I don't post often, but when I do, I prefer to post about great news for the UConn football program.
Welcome to UConn Arkeel!

Nice video package.
The only thing that hasn't been mentioned yet is that he is the only CT nominee for the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Surprised no one has mentioned he is 'only' a 3-star by scout and rivals, for whatever that's worth.
Always think the CT kids who come here get a little too overhyped. But would be neat if he followed the path of this guy

IF the o-line ever gets straightened out. In all seriousness, I hope that A.N. is the 2nd coming of Terry Caulley. THAT would be something!I think some of the CT kids we have coming in could break that mold. Take a look at the backfield potential roster the year he arrives, including QB's. It could be a real beast for 2-3 years. Visions of TD's are dancing through my head.

I would imagine that's with teams k owing he is getting the ball which makes it more impressive5-foot-9, 185-pound Newsome has run for 6,818 yards, an average of 11.2 yards per carry, and 108 touchdowns in his three-year career.
Seems like a talent kid. For those who are familiar with him does he red shirt his frosh year or does he play?
