May is a quality coach on Hurley's level. That's another problem. He will probably attack Karaban and Mullins with his larger personnel. I wish we had a springy 4 in a game like this, but you take who brought you.
 
Best thing for our sanity is not to watch all of the media pick against us and about how great Michigan is. Don’t read it, don’t watch it. Hurley will have a game plan which gives us a shot. They are nearly 50% from 3 tonight. I predict against our number 11 ranked defense that won’t happen. Arizona was 51st in D and tonight they looked 151st.

There shouldn't be a single fan worked up about media picking Michigan, they're the obvious betting pick

It wasn't rocket science seeing they had a gigantic talented front court that would be really hard to match up with.

The kicker now is they have McD AA's coming off the bench draining multiple threes.

Hurley is going to have to pull out something touched by God for this one.

Krivas was a total scrub in this matchup. I was really curious to watch that matchup and Krivas has been a non factor.

Plus, we get to see this team through the full extension of the season. We have the opportunity to go in and slay the goliath, ala 1999.

Not worried but it does grate on you to hear it day and night so just avoid it. It doesn’t bother some but it does irk me. And Hurley. He mentioned picks against UConn postgame. The good news is that they will be fully occupied between now and Monday night.

Will have to go at him. Tarris is going to have to anchor down behind Mara and give him all the hooks he wants.

We won't have a chance if they hit threes like this, but AZ has let this get comfortable and allowed them to run away relaxed.

We are going to have to turn it into an absolute grind of a game, fully control pace, run the shotclock deep and hit shots. It won't be easy.

If UM hangs a 30 point win here, they may challenge the 2024 team on spread for a tourney.

If a great team is on fire from 3s you wont beat them. Hopefully they blew their load tonight. UConn likes to shoot from
the perimeter and doesn’t really drive to the hoop so they should be less affected than other teams. They will need tonhave all 5 guys clearing rebounds. Will need to avoid sloppy turnovers and play with poise. Most of all they will need to knock down threes. They are totally built to do it, but they have to play their best game.

100%, although I do think May is a really good coach.

They seem to energize off pace and sloughing down alley oops. We have to make them grind off traditional shot making. Let Mara make his hooks, make them hit outside shots.I can see this UM team losing focus. Punch them early, not play from behind. Feels like if we go down 10, they're the kind of team that can run you quick.

I see no way to play Ball and Mullins together in this one. The 3 is going to have to be a lot of Ross/Stew & Mullins at the 2.

God awful showing by AZ.

I know that. They are sitting at 100 point differential right now and a 20 point lead. Recency bias and watching what is on my TV right now just had me asking.

I think the big margin here is going to fool some people into thinking UConn's a bigger underdog than they are. Michigan is really good, but after 38+ games of data you really can't conclude much from tonight other than that Arizona was overwhelmed and unprepared. This kind of thing happens all the time in the NBA.

If given the choice between playing Arizona or Michigan w/ Lendeborg well less than 100%, I think everyone before today would have chosen the latter. And I think you still should.
