Why not? Although SU lost to GU today, It looked like an evenly matched contest to me. That being the case, we beat SU, so we can beat GU. Not predicting we will, but this UConn team seems to rise to the occasion more times than not.

They play very solid defense, much better than Cuse really. They just are horrid on offense. Porter had a career game today but look at everyone else on the team, just horrid.

UConn can beat them but it won't be easy.

I didn't think we'd beat Syracuse. The only game we've been sort of blown out of was the L'ville game. Other than that we've been competitive even in the losses. Can we compete with them? I'd be shocked to hear a UCONN fan say 'no' after watching this team all season. Can we beat them? Sure. Will we? Well, we certainly won't be favored, but I think it will be a fun and entertaining game.

Lots of incentive to win the Georgetown game. Win that game and UConn tied for fourth, 1 game back of Gtown, UL and one of Marquette/Syracuse (Monday game).

UConn has: Gtown, Cincy, USF and PC

Gtown has: UConn, Rutgers, Nova, Cuse
Cuse has: Marquette, UL, DePaul, Gtown
UL has: DePaul, Cuse, Cincy, ND
Marquette has: Cuse, ND, Rutgers, SJU

It's a slim road, but there is still a chance for UConn to tie for the conference title. An even slimmer road exists for UConn winning it outright. It may mean rooting for ND or Cuse in a game or two, but for a share of the BE regular season, it's worth it.

I'd say we're about a 3-4 point dog at home. That being said, I'll take the points @ Gampel.

Yeah, I think Giffey is gonna play a huge role in this game.

This is the signature game now.....they will be in the Top 10 and playing really well, Porter is getting all the praises for BE POY and even some saying he's playing as well as anyone in the country.....DD and Giff will make him work and our guards will give their very good defensive guards some competition in that world.......will be tough for sure but compete with them? How can you doubt anything with this team?
