I really like this kid and her motor. Watch her after she scores, no look at me crap. Head up running the floor. I'd take two of her.

Maybe something changes, but SC is not on her final list of schools.
yes a real long shot but that list came out well before the SC NC...........I'd think Dawn might want to take a shot at picking up another Boston like post......she can surely make a case that she knows how to develop a post with her skill set into a top notch player........

I don't think Geno's interest was in Haworth. I think he was just being complimentary of her play. The tweet suggests his interest lies in Treadwell who could be making a college decision by fall.
Makes sense. Counter-productive to go on record publicly praising a player he is actively recruiting, esp at high visibility showcase swarming with coaches. Also may divert attention from his actual target (Treadwell) for un-savvy observers.

How often does a recruit add a school to the list late in the process?

After this weekend Haworth was offered by North Greeneville University.

Hopefully, Sahara Williams’ All-Iowa teammate KK can/is/has put in a good word for UConn. I would think a dynamic, unselfish, gregarious PG would be attractive to (continue) play with— esp for a wing that runs floor & fills driving lanes.

Texas appears to be building a significant program. Getting some solid talent.

Is Sarah Strong a power forward or a post. I think either but developmentally her best shot is at power forward. She solves a lot of problems.

Does Sahara Williams compare to Mir McLean?

Similar size, compete level, rebounding prowess, defensive aptitude. Neither appears especially skilled beyond layup conversions. Wonder if Sahara is Mir-level athlete?

Vic Schaefer can flat-out coach & recruit; proved at Mississippi State. Knows Texas well from schooling (Texas A&M) & earlier job (Sam Houston State).

Texas sleeping athletic powerhouse school IMO. Beautiful campus/city, well-funded, in-state prestige, national academic acclaim (particularly among state schools). Always thought their major sports under-performed relative to these advantages.

I'm not asking if it's possible, I'm asking how often does it happen?
Not very often. It most often happens when there is an assistant or coaching change of a person that was recruiting that player. I'm pretty sure Ashlyn Shade added Vandy when Shea left UCONN. Another example is when Jolette Law joined the South Carolina staff quite a few recruits added SC as a possibility and I believe Christyn Williams was among them.

everybody else wants her too.........she's the only five star post available in her class......

You missed one of my posts. Shane Laflin just said there is big interest in Adhel Tac, 6-5 sophomore from Texas, and that "talk" is she might be the best big in the class.

Via MaxPreps:

Adhel Tac, South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, Texas)
6-5 | Center | Uncommitted

The name is short but the game is big: 14.1 points and 8.8 rebounds a game (with 63.4 percent shooting) for the 35-5 Warriors.
