What are we thinking Boneyarders? I’m guessing we stay around where we were last week. We had a great win followed by a “good loss” on paper (one possession loss to a top 25 team on their home court.) Hopefully the voters put more weight into the Marquette win and maybe we can crack the top 20 again?

Well Indiana moved up with a loss at an unranked team and by beating Purdue. Now Marquette isn't Purdue (though that game early in the year was pretty close) but I'd take Creighton now over Maryland.

We will move ahead of Providence, TCU, St Mary's, but probably get jumped by Creighton. So I'll say 19. Outside chance we pass Iowa State, but not sure they'll fall enough even with 2 losses to unranked teams

19. We blasted a Top 10 Marquette team, and lost on the road to a ranked team by a big toe. I think that moves us up a couple spots
We jump TCU and PC.
Creighton jumps us.
Nets out as 20.

Dave Borges of the Register moved UConn from unranked to 25.

We don't usually add a team coming off a loss to our weekly AP Top 25 ballot, but we had to think long and hard about adding the UConn men's basketball team for the first time in three weeks.

The question: Is a 15-point home win over the No. 10 team in the country and a three-point road loss at one of the hottest teams in the country enough to re-introduce the Huskies on our ballot?

The answer: Yes. While road wins are what we value most, and the Huskies haven't really had a great one this season, it's hard to deny home wins over Marquette, Creighton and Oklahoma State and neutral-court wins over Iowa State and Alabama.

Example #1: Seth Davis moved us from unranked to #13 on his ballot this week
I thought it was a mistake when I saw that on the athletic. We're going to be all over the map. There's ballots out there that don't even have us ranked lol

Borges, Carino, and Davis didn't have UConn in their polls last week. This week they have them at 25, 15, and 13 respectively this week. Brown had UConn at 21 last week, now 19. They could really move up more than we think.

If we win out or even 4-1 down the stretch we will go into the BET as a top 10 team. Everyone is losing and our schedule is opening up.

Probably somewhere 18-20. Last week was a 1-1 week, where the 1 win was an absolute thrashing of #10 and the 1 loss was a 3 point road loss to #23

Definitely moving up from that week. Take care of business against Seton Hall this weekend and we’ll probably be closer to 15 than 20 for our PC and SJU rematches

Seth Davis is funny. There’s gonna be no hate towards him from us this week, that’s for sure.
