I just hope we're ranked.

We rose 12 spots after PK. And we deserved it. We deserve a drop of that much now, might not with other losses but I’m expecting 15-20

Lots of top 25 teams lost this week but losing to SJ at home was a bad loss. Metrics are still good so don't see falling past 18. But we need some wins next week for sure to stay ranked as can't absorb more bad losses.

Lots of teams lost this week. We will still drop alot. I'm guessing 15-18 range.

Good. Kids needed an ego check.

Eh maybe they need to be unranked. They have absolutely no fire right now after that gutless performance.

The “wheels come off” way we lose is such that I believe we are borderline 22-25 at this point in time.

Voters don’t watch the games so they’ll just see an 11 point loss and think “meh, UConn must have just had a bad game”

Will probably end up on the lower end of 15-20

The same laziness by voters earlier in the year to not recognize how well UConn was playing and how soundly they were beating good teams will now play in UConn's favor as many Top-25 teams were losing this week and a few others lost twice.
None of us UConn fans should be upset if a writer doesn't include UConn in their Top-25 this week, but I'd go somewhere between 17-22 is where they end up.

Seth Davis has us at 17, with many of our friends rising.

”The losses suffered by the other two were part of a larger pattern. UConn started the season 14-0 and surged from unranked to No. 2 in the AP poll. Plenty of Huskies fans had sharp criticisms for me for not putting them at the top. I’m sure those same fans will be offering up mea culpas now that the Huskies have lost four of their last five games. The first three losses were on the road to good teams (Xavier, Providence and Marquette, with a home win over Creighton in between), but Sunday’s 85-74 home loss to St. John’s was a different story. The Red Storm are not as bad as their 3-5 Big East record would indicate, but there is no doubt the Huskies took them lightly, which was inexcusable considering the slide they’ve been on. UConn is still strong in the metrics (No. 7 NET, No. 6 KenPom, No. 9 KPI), but clearly this is not a top 10 team. I slotted it purely on feel.”

Rough start to conference play. But if we remain on top 25… we remain relevant. The big east remains strong.

Those "receiving votes"! Don't deserve much more and may be good for them!

Last week we were 10th in Katz's Power 36 rankings. Now we're off the list.

I can’t complain with 17 and I know the intention here is to bait reactions, but it’s kind of funny how this implies that the Huskies should have been ranked lower earlier in the season because they wouldn’t adjust well to conference play later in the season

Can't complain about anywhere in the 15-20 range, which is where I think we should slot in. Seen a lot of 17 guesses so I'll say 16 to be different

His take now is accurate, but the take that we weren’t top tier before St. John’s is laughable. You can’t use hindsight to prove your prior point that had little basis in reality at that moment.

I'm hoping #15 for a 9 spot slide but #17 for an 11 spot slide is more realistic.

I want to hear from a few here who were crying about our low ranking when we were only in the top 5, how we deserved better and they were insulted that we were only number 2 or 3 and KenPom had us at #1.
