Anyone have the video of his attempted dunk that would have been INSANE against Louisville ? I'm dying to see that again, would really appreciate if you could help!

Convinced we would have won that game had he dunked that. Gampel would have absolutely exploded and the energy would have been out of this world. Was in the front row of the student section already on my friends shoulders when he went up for it. No doubt DD wouldve went off after that. Gets me so amped thinking about it!!!

That's a foul on Harrell, either take the charge or completely leave the area - they blew that one too!! That's a block all day……...

Absolutely. Worst call of the night before the end of the half, then the missed call on Giffey, then the Technicals, then . . .

For what it's worth, that would have been the dunk of the year. Even though he missed it, it's more enjoyable to watch than any other actual slam this year

If this wasn't a UConn forum I would have thought you were asking for a different type of video...judging by the title of the thread

Nice missed dunk, I guess. Even worse is the missed Bazz assist, which was 'almost' a thing of beauty. Foul or not, can't miss a dunk like that in under those circumstances. Its the little things/moments that happen (and don't happen) that can accelerate your future. Making that dunk could have set him off for the next year and a half. DD of all our players needed that dunk.

Consequently it removes another nice pass from Bazz's highlight resume.

Didn't think there was a foul there, DD just choked.

That's Boatright with the pass. I think you're also probably overstating the importance of the dunk. The next year and a half?
Well I butchered that post. I didn't see the game as I was out of the country. I had never seen Boat throw such a pass, and 'quickly' assumed by my tiny display it was Bazz. Thanks for not quoting me, as now I can consider deleting.

As for the dramatics, some plays are a launching point of sorts. I consider Jordan's game winner against NC in the Championship game as one. DD's missed dunk is not on that level for sure, but making it could have propelled him to a certain extent. Probably not for a year and a half but perhaps the remainder of the season. It looked to be that spectacular.

I've agree with you if he hadn't had the game he had against Temple. Granted, they blow. But he looked as confident as I've seen him. I really feel like when he takes somebody off the bounce early in the game and doesn't convert, he gives up on it.

Really definitely undercut him but it kinda looked like he was trying duck out of the way and in the process his ass bumped DD's legs. Where are the people that said DD isn't athletic? Kid took off from well outside the circle and nearly threw it down with contact.

YES! ESPN should now have the top 10 failed plays of the day. This may have made #1 ...

Would have, has now become more enjoyable than actual ??? Mike no slander here just advise from an old timer, as you are obviously young. Do not pass on your philosophy to a future bride or mate. You will forever hear close is just as good as scoring.

Looking back at it, DD missing the dunk was probably a good sign that his head was not in the Louisville game. Too late for it to matter, but if he threw that down, he probably could have had 25 points that night.
