Anyone a little worried about the Big East this year?

We'll be 18-2 in the Big East this year.
This is a bold prediction. Even Nova's best year, if I remember correctly, they went 14-4. Albeit this is the BE's worst year since realignment... but still bold.

Maybe 4 in the top 10 but not the 4 absolute best,
I'm a UConn lover but not going to say that they have the 4 best and non debatable
Please lose that tired "Thanks for your interest in UConn basketball" Thanks DHman:eek:
Agree to disagree here. If you took Sanogo, Clingan, Jackson and Hawkins and put them on 4 different BE teams there’s a very high likelihood they all make BE First Team. Thanks for your interest in Hurleyman’s posts!

PC went 14-3* in the BE last year... we can and should go 17-3 or 16-4 on our way to winning the conference against weaker comp. anything worse and we might not be a #1 seed in the tourney even if we win the BET as well.

We'll be 18-2 in the Big East this year.

Creighton will be a ranked team again by February (half these losses are missing their best player), Xavier is good and is adjusting to new coach, Providence beat URI, and then won their next two games by 40 a piece, they have pretty much all transfers so only natural for it to take a month to get on track, St. Johns has looked good, Butler has looked good and is adjusting to new coach, Marquette has been solid. Add in the fact that Villanova is always going to play UConn tough, just getting back into gear with their new coach and injuries. Think a lot of the 'let down' is just holiday tournament damage. This is a good conference where every game will be a fight...lets wait until UConn plays a single conferecne game before accusing the rest of the conference of not being good enough
