I can verify Mau's story. I was the captain of the women's volleyball team at UCONN

Wish I was savvy enough to pull that move. :) Athletic chick magnet. Guys do it for real when they join the cheerleading squad. I made fun of them at first...until I saw their results. Respect.

I didn't go to UConn, but was on the Quiz Bowl team at my college. Somehow bringing that up didn't really help me with the ladies.

I would have expected a Quiz Bowler to be smart enough to know that. You didn't win many QBowls either did you.

I'm a former Sports Editor of The Daily Campus -- and used to know a lot of athletes and write about them. But that and a quarter...

Went to a low level D1 basketball school on scholarship and was asked nicely to leave before we even had the first practice.

Unlike many of you rude chauvinistic pigs I am going to say I was "making love" (rather than banging that hell out of although it's true) to the captain of women's volleyball in the late 70's and early 80's in Hollister while she was the roommate of Dennis Long's (baseball) sister Carol………….the girl across the hall Michelle was hanging out with Randy LaVigne so I got to know them pretty well during parties etc etc……….and when I played baseball for another school at UConn vs the Huskies (Colin McGloughin toed the rubber for the Huskies with wild heat) she was then dating the Italian soccer playing dude (Gaetano or something?) but I slipped in a friendly "take one (or 2 lol) for the Gipper" that evening for memories sake……….LOL……good ole days!!;)
I jerked off thinking about a volleyball chick once. Does that count?

@CAHUSKY Shout out to 4th floor of McMahon! I think I was like room 408 or something back in the day but my memory is fuzzy....
Small world, I lived McMahon 4th North for a couple of years in the early 00s, what years were you there?

Without pics it never happened. D3 baseball, early 70's. Glory days, downhill from there.

Well i played basketball for 3 years at a local university after which i played proffesionally. while in college i played center and was a rebound and block machine who nearly won national player of the year in my junior season and if it wasnt for some back issues id have won it. i wore number 50 and i was a pretty good student athlete;)
Ok if that's you, be well my friend. Wish you all the best.

Football 84/85 seasons. blow out acl then broke bone graph and other ligaments. Reconstrutive surgery twice.

D1 baseball 4 years, not at UConn. Was actually on 1/8th athletic scholarship and had to play schools that had a ton of full riders that made me look oafish. Full ride players on my squad were FB guys keeping busy in the spring. You might guess it was a long time ago. Two of my compatriots were Scotty Glacken and John Gutekunst, pretty decent college FB players.

A quick search of google indicates that means you're a Dukie???
