There are thousands of reasons whyTremont Waters is from CT and grew up a UConn fan, probably why nobody bothered recruiting him

Like any of that really matters.
There are thousands of reasons why

Danny is an absolute stud coach and is doing it better. I feel that many on here fail to recognize how dire the situation was that he inherited. Give him time and he will have UConn back in the top 10. It will take time though. You wish it did and it's pretty true but if you grow up near there you're a fan. And when you go see him he will be talking basketball while not picking his nose. He won't tell you how you may not be a great NBA player because we play 2-3 zone therefore your transition to man will suck. He WILL tell you that the Orange have 30K fans at games, they play UNC and Duke here and go there to play them etc etc etc....and you grew up a fan so why not bring that A game of yours to your home area and rep your NY stat university?
We can only hope danny is doing it even better!
So he grew up a Cuse fan and is from NY.
People really think we have a shot here?
I am not worried about people who grew up in Syracuse, they know it's the most miserable horrible place in America. It's the people who make one visit on a nice June day and think that's how it is that I worry about.

He's from Albany, I think he has a general idea about the weather in Syracuse.

Such a done deal he hasn't committed. Not sure if it’s an insider or but on the cuse board someone stated that it’s pretty much a done deal with him going to cuse.

Yeah this kid grew up a Cuse fan and is from the area. Like I was saying before, don't get your hopes up. If a miracle happens, cool.
One thing that does concern me is that Jackson has made comments in the past about other players “joining him” at Syracuse. He also plays in a 2-3 matchup zone system right now for a Syracuse feeder school. Like I said I think this is going to be an uphill battle.
He's from Amsterdam, NY which puts him a little closer to Syracuse. He grew up a Cuse fan and they've said he's a Cuse lock all along. I've heard we are in a really good spot with him. If he doesn't commit to Syracuse shortly and we're still meeting with him it looks good. If he commits to play for that nose picking geriatric than god help him and his chances of ever playing in the NBA.That may be, but Albany is actually the same distance to Storrs as it is to Syracuse
If he comes here he's an excellent athlete who can do it all and needs to improve his perimeter game. If he commits to Cuse he's a guy who didn't shoot well enough for our requirements.
Simple.
That's weird you don't look like ZionnNEXT
