I'll tell you what struck me about this video. With Andre leading it off saying he is a husky, and the statement at the end the thank you's highlighted by "Thank you to the game of basketball for the opportunities it has given us all". It really is an admission that for the guys taking this ride along with AD it must have been a surreal, but awe-inspiring ride to be along with one of the most gifted basketball players in the past 10 years or so. Now, that is coming to an end for them and you can see that they are appreciative of the ride, and of Andre for taking them on it.
 
Wow, this mixtape is fire! His passing ability is ridiculous! One of the better mixtapes i've seen. Great work.

AO, TO, and RS better keep their heads and hands up for some of those passes Drummond seems to like to make. Cant Wait!

Best part about this, is that we can now root for the local guy for his whole NBA career without issue. If he had committed and then went pro and never played, ala Bynum, there always would have been that lingered distaste or pain. It hasn't been a real issue with Bynum as he wasn't a Connecticut kid but this one would have hurt.

I was thinking he's really young and does it really make that much difference? Holy cow - he will be a huge huge upgrade. I tried not to get caught up in the hype and didn't watch anything previously. I can understand why people were posting every three minutes about him.
 
I can't stop watching this mixtape. The whole series of 4 tapes put together by Crusader22 for AD is very impressive.

The tape shows what awesome talent and potential he has. When I saw him live on TV recently, he did go from being pretty invisible at times to making some great plays down the stretch in an all-star game. He seems to be a little like Alex and Rudy (and others) in that he seems like a very nice kid without a high level of aggression or determination to dominate. If the consistency and intensity light bulbs go off, watch out. It will be interesting to see how JC coaches him early on.....will he get star treatment or will he feel he wrath for making mistakes?
