How do you not call a timeout when the other team is in the midst of a 20-2 run?
She'd already burned a timeout early in 3Q when the Duke player got trapped in the corner. Didn't want to burn another one, I guess.
Yes, thanks Plebe. I keep referring back to this. Thanks for the work here. Makes scheduling the TV time a lot easier for the indolent among us.
Dayton punched their ticket to The Dance.
As a card carrying ND hater, it's really nice for me to see the Irish stretch out their lead here. All of us should be pulling for them to go undefeated (and convincingly) until meeting the Huskies in the NC game. Beating them is so much more satisfying when they have their hopes sky high!
I was just going to say this. Chattanooga had a one-point lead and the ball out of bounds with about 14 seconds to play. Mercer stole the inbound pass but then missed a contested layup and had to foul. Joyner made 1 of 2 free throws and then a buzzer-beating 3-pointer bounced precariously around the rim before falling out. Those hurt just to watch.Chattanooga also going Dancing. Mercer had a potential game winning 3 pointer bounce around and roll off the rim at the buzzer. Heartbreaker!
No idea...I think Baylor is better, with a real size advantage down low, but I'll be pulling for ND should that scenario play out. True, it's fun to beat Kim, but, c'mon, giving Muffett another beatdown is finger-lickin' good! Will Notre Dame beat Baylor, assuming both get to the national semifinal?
The good news for UConn is they'd only have to beat one of them.
Tightened up, now 14-13 at the end of 1 quarter. SC hasn't scored for quite a while.
Not that I know about...but what really stinks is that this is all politics over that stupid bathroom bill North Carolina passed and then repealed!
So according to Charlie Creme, this SEC game and the Pac-12 game will combine to determine the final #1 seed:
- If SC beats MSU, SC is the final #1 seed.
- If MSU beats SC and Oregon State beats Stanford, OSU is the #1 seed in Stockton.
- If MSU beats SC and Stanford beats Oregon State, MSU sneaks into that last #1 spot.
Did MSU just make that comeback in the 1st quarter with both Vivians and William on the bench?
Is our reward a trip to Stockton after Sioux Falls last season? I don't know if the NCAA pays attention to what they did the previous season, but if the Gamecocks get sent to the hinterlands again and Kentucky potentially gets their first four games at home, that stinks.
Yes, what if Miss State wins? Does that knock SC out of a #1 seed? Wouldn't want to be the 4th #1 seed with SC in my bracket....Coates's injury could really hurt them....
Well, she is having a great game and she singlehandledly put them back into the lead with that run.Announcers are gushing about Aja Wilson to the point it's annoying.
