Hurley can express his opinions to management. But what he prefers has no bearing in the decision. This is a university level decision. It a basketball decision.

That's OK, I still want whatever Hurley wants

That wasn't the Big East, they were all add ons many years later. Big East is probably the most true to it's original form out of all the conferences now.
Four current members were members for the entirety of the conference. The BE would have to cut three schools for that to be half the conference.

Come on, don't play this game.
It appears that you are the one playing games.

A significantly larger percentage of the B1G, SEC and ACC traditional members are still in their respective conferences yet you are claiming the Big East is most true to its original form.

Your statement needs to be taken with an exceptionally large grain of salt.

It came to be the Big East at one point just like how the Big 12, Big 10, SEC, and ACC are all different now but it was nothing like the original Big East. The Big East is the closest to it's original form out of all the conferences.

Nah - Pac12.

Six of the schools there have been there for over a century. Two others for almost 50.

And then the Big 10. SEC. ACC.

The Big East is simply the biggest loser.
