All my picks are pre Dream Season players.
Mostly because there was the BE GOTW with Tom Gorman and that's who you watched for the week.
Pearl
David Wingate
Reggie Williams
Clyde Vaughn
Patrick Ewing
Walter Berry, Michael Adams and Willie Glass are very close contenders.
I couldn't stand Villanova. I can't think of any PC or SHU player worth a damn.
Yeah Owens or Walter Berry as 6th!
Walter Berry is so underrated. His NBA career was short, but he was amazing at St. Johns.

I'm just putting up a list of heartbreak with no particular concern as to whether these guys did what they did to us against the other BE squads:
DeJuan Blair
Peyton Siva
John Lenehan
Preston Schumpert
Darius Rice/Kerry Kittles
Sham god had his best games against us. Kittles did too. Siva is another good one. My friend Ryan Gomes - of course with a little add in JC presser for entertainment.View attachment 20954 Shammgod
Moten
Kittles
Sealy
Joe Alexander
*The entire St. John's Mike Jarvis / Eric Barkley era ( loved our games against them)
Got to include Rip Hamilton.Slightly OT, but here are the players I really enjoyed watching from each team and some I didn't. I left out Rutgers, Miami, and all the other newer schools.

No Gminski? I'd also add Johnny Egan from Weaver/ProvidenceHere's my list of Non-UConn Big East Players from Connecticut. Could have included Gomes and Dunn, but They were PC, you know?
Harold Pressley Uncasville High 1st triple double in BE History -- 19/15/10 against Providence
Harold Jensen Trumbull High 5/5, 4/4 in 85 NCAA Title game.
John Garris Bassick High (Bpt). 18pt/11 board average senior year at BC. Gave up 8 inches to Sampson in the NCAA tourney, but played him to a standstill and got him to foul out a couple minutes into the 2nd half. Then BC stopped going to Garris and lost the game.
John Bagley Harding High (Bpt). Led BC to their only championship in the BE (81 reg season)
Charles Smith Harding High (Bpt)
No Gminski? I'd also add Johnny Egan from Weaver/Providence
A name I haven't seen mentioned in a while is Carl Krauser of Pitt. I can still see him making the X with his arms clearly in my head.
Patrick Ewing
Derrick Coleman
Chris Mullin
Sleepy Floyd
Pearl Washington
Not as good as Kemba or Shabazz. Better than AJ.How good were Sleepy Floyd and Pearl Washington? I know who they played for, but they were before my time. ..
No.And, it kills me to say it, but I think the all time Georgetown team beats our all timers pretty badly.
John Pinone - 'Nova, Jeff Allen - St.John'sNeither fit my criteria. CT High school and BE college.
Gminski went to Duke and Weaver played at Providence just a bit before the Big East was formed. And I disqualified Providence players anyway, just because I felt like it.
