It was a fun thread. Just wanted to begin the transition from losing JC in as positive a way as possible. I was confident KO was every bit as good as Shaka, and maybe a shade less, at this early stage of his career, than Brad Stevens. But KO bleeds the blue and white as did his mentor and that tilted the odds heavily in favor of KO imo. And I think this is how most of the people who have responded to this thread feel as well. Sometimes it's just fun to be out there and not need mind alterations or just be rebellious to get there. I'm glad you made it "official". I don't think any of us consider too many Boneyarders posting in this forum less of a UConn fan or KO supporter because they didn't take the leap in faith.

I have been all in since JC hired him as an assistant. When he came aboard, I knew he would eventually succeed JC, but I was hoping it would take longer than it did. Even when he got the 7 month initial contract, I knew he would force Manuel to sign him long-term fairly quickly. Not that I'm so smart, I was given inside insight into his personality years and years ago and I never forgot it!
