I'm in. The transformation in rebounding and the total team cohesiveness is unreal. On top of that, I have no fears about academics or player behavior.

KO is running a well run and classy program. This is an Emeka Okafor type team. Always doing and saying the right things.

I had faith in KO, but will admit I wasn't sure how good he would be. After today, I have all the faith in the world in him. He can make in game adjustments, he gets these kids motivated to play every minute of every game, and he represents the university about as well as you could expect. Sign me up, Ollie is an absolute keeper for a long time.

100% in. KO's ability to get kids to buy in and play their hearts out for him has been evident from the beginning, I just wasn't sure how his in game coaching was going to play out. He has far exceeded my expectations with his Xs and Os and ability to make adjustments. If we can get a good development from the conference problem I think we all have plenty of reason to be excited about the future of this program for a long time.

It was a fun thread. Just wanted to begin the transition from losing JC in as positive a way as possible. I was confident KO was every bit as good as Shaka, and maybe a shade less, at this early stage of his career, than Brad Stevens. But KO bleeds the blue and white as did his mentor and that tilted the odds heavily in favor of KO imo. And I think this is how most of the people who have responded to this thread feel as well. Sometimes it's just fun to be out there and not need mind alterations or just be rebellious to get there. I'm glad you made it "official". I don't think any of us consider too many Boneyarders posting in this forum less of a UConn fan or KO supporter because they didn't take the leap in faith.

Even when he got the 7 month initial contract, I knew he would force Manuel to sign him long-term fairly quickly. Not that I'm so smart, I was given inside insight into his personality years and years ago and I never forgot it!
