Is this for real? This was one game I didn't even ponder keeping track of today.....
Please tell me you are NOT comparing teams in the American in quality to teams in the SEC. Tennessee posters will have an aneurysm. (Cue sarcasm emoji!)...It is now that there are only four games left, but it wasn't that long ago that I did an analysis of the remaining schedule and to my surprise UConn's remaining schedule was more challenging than that of Mississippi State.
And it is still closer than she might realize. Connecticut has one top 25 team left as does Mississippi State. The other three UConn opponents are slightly weaker than the other three Mississippi State opponents but Mississippi State has only one challenging game left and it's a team roughly comparable to USF.
I am so sick of hearing how great the SEC is. They aren’t. They have a few good teams at the top of the conference but the rest of the conference is no different than the AAC..
Hard to believe this Tenn team handily beat a good Georgia squad.
Possibly because Alabama is just not a very good team. They literally have 1 good win this year - over LSU - and losses to Elon, Auburn, Kentucky, Arkansas, and they managed to squeak past a terrible Ole Miss (last place in SEC) team by 3 points...Looks like Mr. Hyde showed up tonight in Knoxville. Tennessee looked lifeless in the last 4 minutes of this game. Tennessee will not go far in the NCAA Tournament. Tennessee is not a TOP 10 team, questionable if they are even a top 15 team. I don't know why the studio analysts are so stunned that Tennessee lost?
She was generalizing that the SEC games are all tougher games than UConn's 4 AAC games, I think.
So TN sorta won? Kinda like Louisville's "win" against UConn on Monday???The Alabama box score is interesting.
TN DOMINATED the 1st and 3rd quarters, but were STOMPED in 2nd and 4th. Jekyll and Hyde in the same game.
There's nothing like sitting home suffering from the flu and turning the TV on with 5 minutes left and seeing Tennessee losing. UT, as pointed out above, looked lifeless. They were playing like they'd already lost the game. Then, when they had, they kept fouling as though there was a chance.
It's just one game. It doesn't mean they have no chance. TN is still going to be hosting the first two rounds barring a complete collapse down the stretch.but with Tenn loosing badly against Al there is no chance for them to be around when UConn plays 3 & 4 round.
Also what,s wrong with Md? They were not that bad when UConn played them earlier?
