True story.

Whenever someone switches teams it always reminds me of the guys who moved up to the Yankees. e.g. Mr. Wage Boggs!

True, but a bounce back year this season and he’s not going anywhere. Time will tell. I’m rooting for him. A good Georgetown is a better Big East.
Agreed, which is why I want Georgetown to go 0-20 again so they end this charade and hire a real basketball coach

He’s 23-62 on conference play and just went 0-20 last year.

Safe to count him out.
And wasn’t the championship via the BE tournament, so with several upsets, rather than, say, an impressive regular season record?

If I had to choose between Hurley’s regular season results, but no BE championship, and Ewing’s regular season records and single, fluky, BE championship, I’d have to go with Hurley.

I can’t argue with you about the record, but I do like Patrick Ewing and hope he somehow turns things around. He needs a George Blaney type assistant. First time Chief inadvertently ran into Patrick was at a UConn vs BC basketball game in Chestnut Hill when he was in HS. At the time, seemed like he had really long legs LOL. A pleasant kid, who could play with great intensity.

Samson needs to play, but I was actually hoping Akok would stay. People were saying he wasn’t the same player, but I think he may have been, his chance just passed him by. When he was ready, we had moved on. I think he does really well at Georgetown. If he plays starter minutes he can average close to a double double.

I agree should get much playing time there and will be very good for them. We will see what he could have been here. Rooting for him, good luck Akok.
He's also a smart young man, and will come out of this with a degree from Georgetown. Hoping for big things from him, on or off the court.
