Airplane etiquette

I only fly Delta with the rare Southwest exception while hopping between Las Vegas and Phoenix.

Call me what you will but I love the MD88 and MD90's.

Seat 27D on a A321 is the best economy seat on the plane. I take it over Delta Comfort any day of the week. Area has about 8 feet of leg room.

Been reclined on far too often. I am 6'4" and do my best to grab exit row seats, but sometimes I'm dealt a crappy hand and get stuck in a regular seat. I put my knees into the back of the seat so it cannot recline. I set the precedent early.

The 6:15am flight out of San Diego is nice, especially sitting on the tarmac because ordinance doesn't allow them to take off until 630. John Wayne is even worse in OC.

Two Dead Mayors Airport is a zoo, no matter the time of day, but is super easy to navigate.

TSA Precheck and Clear are a must and the Delta Skylounge bathrooms are much cleaner than the others, so a pit stop is always required.

Tow operator at BDL pulled us forward over the wheel chock damaging a rear tire. Ground crew jacked the plane up and changed the tire with us all on it. That was cool. The sudden application of brakes to stop us from hitting the terminal was not cool.

If you fly out of BDL, good chance we’ve flown together.
