One thing to note, Adama tied for the largest hand size at the combine, tied with Zach Edey and Oscar Tschiebwe at 9.75"...still a ways below Kawhi's 11.3"
My wife told me size does not matter. She wouldn’t lie, would she?One thing to note, Adama tied for the largest hand size at the combine, tied with Zach Edey and Oscar Tschiebwe at 9.75"...still a ways below Kawhi's 11.3"
Mine does all the time. I appreciate that.My wife told me size does not matter. She wouldn’t lie, would she?
Sanogo's ability to get great position and seal defenders was on full display in these highlights. None of his highlights were just getting the ball in the post and bullying his way into the hoop. Almost all due to positioning or hustle plays to go find the ball off the rim. LOVE to see that. 6'9 (or should I say 6'7) guys playing low post bully ball doesn't translate to the NBA. Getting excellent positioning and hustling on the boards absolutely translate. Again, love to see that
Still find it hard to believe that there is no one willing to invest in Sanogo in the first round. He would help any team and i think hes going to turn out to be a better player than people think. Ajax needs to come back. I think he ultimately gets drafted late but dont really see him sticking in the league until he develops a legit offensive game.
He opted out of 5x5Any highlights from Hawkins available?
As did all the guys who are first round locks. He opted out of 5x5
I think I saw somewhere that Jackson was the only projected first rounder (per Givony’s mock) that playedAs did all the guys who are first round locks.
Cody Zeller has been playing minutes for the Heat. It’s starting to becoming harder and harder to see how Sanogo doesn’t carve out an NBA career.
Wayne freaking Gabriel was playing playoff minutes for the Lakers.
Cody Zeller was a stud in college and was the #4 draft pick. Wenyen Gabriel really didn't do anything in college and went undrafted.Cody Zeller has been playing minutes for the Heat.
The truth is that there are many rotation players in the nba that are lucky to be in the nba and many more who are just as good if not better, who are unlucky to not be in the nba. After the top 180 players in the world, there are probably 1,000 that are close to the same level. Its such a hard place to carve out a career in.

Dejuan Blair has a ring I think. Adama is better.I think he is showing enough and has displayed good enough measurables that he has a great chance at a decently long backup C career.
San Antonio (playing for Pop) may be the perfect spot for AS.Dejuan Blair has a ring I think. Adama is better.
Sure, but Draymond Green was supposed to be a backup too. The NBA draft is like buying scratch tickets. Even the top picks sometimes flop. A lot of lottery guys are just backups. So yeah, they are projecting guys who have some untapped potential, like Andre.I just don't think anybody thinks the upside is there. He's projected at best as a backup.
If one of them has a chance of getting drafted in the 1st or getting a guarantee of getting picked in the early 2nd (with guaranteed money involved), it's AJ. Teams will imagine overhauling his shot and turning him into a starting-caliber player.
I agree but I worry about Jackson more. I could see a scenario where Jackson eventually just fits really well in the NBA as a connector playing great D, unique vision, doing the little things or I could see him never making the NBA because he just doesn't score.I just don't think anybody thinks the upside is there. He's projected at best as a backup.

I was reminded of something I often consider thinking about basketball Height, Rob Williams triggered it watching him. He has a short neck. If you want to measure basketball heights, it shouldn’t be to their heads, it should be to their shoulders. My guess is Rob has higher shoulders than some guys 2 inches taller. Adama might as well. Those guys will always play taller than their heights.“It’s sports, people are gonna say what they want,” Sanogo said Thursday in reference to doubt around his height. “You can only control what you control, so I’m trying to focus, work hard, do stuff that makes me happy. I’m not trying to worry about what people are saying. The only thing I can control is keep working on my game.”
