ACC 2025-26

One thing I noticed looking at the game times this year is that the Thurs night ACC network games have switched from a start times of 6pm and 8 have been moved back to 7 and 9. 6 was too early, but 9 is too late in my opinion.

My guess would be they're trying to accommodate the West Coast schools with this adjustment. It's not much of one, but a 9 pm EST start lines up better for West Coast fans who can watch a game at 6 pm PST.

9pm starts on the East Coast are brutal for fans. If I stop at Del Taco after the game... I wouldn't get home until after 1 in the morning.

Came across this via X/Twitter. Northam wrote this about Milan Brown, and man.............she's accomplished a lot off the course, before stepping onto campus. Sounds very focused on her long term goals as well. Looking forward to seeing her play on the court.

Having Macy on all freshman team when she isn’t likely to play yet leaving out Pitts highest rated recruit ever #30 Nylah Wilson who their coach said would be a starter seems foolish imo.

As part of Stanford's ACC pre-season press release touting being picked to finish 6th, I thought the following was quite interesting:

The Cardinal only has one transfer on its roster in junior Mary Ashley Stevenson, who is in her second year on The Farm after playing one season at Purdue. Stanford has the fewest transfers on its roster among all 68 Power 4 programs. NC State, Washington and Oklahoma each have two. Among Power 4 schools, Stanford and Washington tied for the least amount of portal movement this offseason (total number of transfers in + transfers out).
Not surprised Stanford has the fewest transfers but the others (NC State, Washington, and Oklahoma) were an interesting mix.

Langley has lost very few players to the portal while she's been at UW. Several left during the transition from Wynn to Langley. Other than that, Ari Long is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. Went from the end of Washington's bench to the end of Oregon's bench.

edit--I'm sorry, I have to walk this statement back. Langley lost an entire recruiting class. She re-recruited 4/5 of Wynn's last class, but they all transferred out within a year.

Not surprised. 3 and D with some attitude (in a good way). I wonder who starts. Looking forward to watching the team this year

My Panthers

Well according to that box score, maybe the reason is that they apparently had 6 players on the floor for 11 minutes of the game... No wonder they gave NC State all they had!
