Being behind too many wings this year may mean being behind too many wings next year. Just a different set of wings.Disappointed and actually a little suprised by this this. Granted we didn't get to see much of him this year, but he really looked promising during the open practice earlier in the year. Figured he was just behind too many wings, but with AK and LM likely going pro, thought he'd have a good opportunity.
No surprise. Wonder if he and his cousin Patrick Ngongba could be a package deal somewhere
It would be interesting if Richmond added a second UConn guy. They already have Roumoglou. Not surprised. My guess is he ends up somewhere like Richmond or VCU and contributes at that level
Would have been nice to see what he could do with more PT (and take the Solo route as far as going from barely playing frosh -> regular as soph) but owell.Would have liked to see what he looked like next year if he could have earned 15 minutes of playing time. Kid definitely "looked" the part of a D1 front court player.
Lots of true freshmen don’t play very much. His opportunity was coming up next yearCan’t blame him- he wants to play ball & he didn’t see the floor
depending on who returns and/or what's added in the portal that wasn't a givenLots of true freshmen don’t play very much. His opportunity was coming up next year
We'll be fine.Would not be surprised to see him wind up at Marquette. He almost went there and has close family connections there.
I really feel we will regret this. He's talented.
Regret what exactly? He decided to transfer. And he won’t be the last to decide that in this era. Well just end up with someone else whose goodI think we'll come to regret this in a couple years. From what I saw in open practices and early season action, this kid has all the tools to be elite.
Ready, fire, aim!Is it now time to crap on the player or wonder why we recruited someone who either could not play or we recruited someone who could play but we didn’t play him?
