They surprisingly lost to Hillhouse by 1 point tonight.

NDWH and Manchester are the runaway favorites this year, but if Hillhouse can pull off this upset you gotta think any one of the top-5 or 6 could win it

Not a surprise that Hillhouse beat a small Catholic school, even if they had a couple ringers.
Oh please! 'small catholic school'?
Look at the top 10 in the state. They're mostly Catholic schools.
They recruit the best kids in their area. Weakening the other schools.

I was at the game. Sitting pretty close to Coach. Abou was very good, but did struggle at times.
Missed a runner in the lane with seconds to go. Also missed some key FTs down the stretch.
But, the kid looks legit.

East Catholic or Northwest stole EVERY single one of my best players over the years. But they don't recruit! Reilly just happened to be talking to my players mom in the stands during our game. Totally innocent

I think Manchester might be in division II. Manchester is a good team this year!

I thought they got pushed up after last season. I could be thinking of someone else.

UConn, the two-time reigning national men’s basketball champion, has also shown interest. UConn associate head coach Kimani Young went to see him play in the SCC tournament semifinals and assistant Tom Moore in the SCC championship game two days later.

“I’ve been talking to them. It’s going good. Everything is a process. You have to be patient,” Toure, who will turn 17 in August, said about UConn.

He also made an unofficial visit last February, attending the UConn-Villanova game at Gampel Pavilion.

Shea said “UConn is absolutely in contact and following Abdou at all of these events.”

First line of the story “UConn may not be in a power 5 conference but…” Really? Does that really need be said lol

Time to rebuild the Colosseum, give him a home game his freshman year, and bring back The Beast of New Haven.
Globetrotters at the colosseum in the summer circa 2001 was a helluva time for 7 year old AntG. Good times.

With UConn's coaching, his coach ability, character, team-first mentality and athleticism the sky's the limit. I really hope he stays home.
