I actually go to some of his high school games driving an hour each way and have no connection to Notre Dame. That's how special a player he is.I would love to have in a Husky uniform. I went to both Notre Dame and UConn so it’s a lot special!
Or how special a fan you are...#notcasualI actually go to some of his high school games driving an hour each way and have no connection to Notre Dame. That's how special a player he is.
It sounds like he wants to be here. I think if we can put a nice NIL package together for him, and I don’t see a reason why we couldn’t, he will come here. Especially if another forward like Liam is a lottery pick in the upcoming draft.Percentage chance we land him? 70%?
Just the kind of twitchy athlete we can use.
He is downplaying offer. My kids are in his orbit and not a secret this was the one he was waiting on.
Tough to say honestly, but it’s possible McNeeley won’t even be the most recently drafted guy from us, I am hopeful one of the freshman next year end up as a one and doneIt sounds like he wants to be here. While wearing the uconn swag i am sure!I actually go to some of his high school games driving an hour each way and have no connection to Notre Dame. That's how special a player he is.
Was that an Abdow's in Wethersfield where the Tilted Kilt was? As a kid I remember some kind of large figure outside, maybe holding a burger. The guy I went to Abdow's with created havoc at that place. He loved shrimp and he was a machine. As soon as we were seated, he'd grab 3 plates and pile one with the peel-and-eat shrimp until it started falling off. In seconds, the pile was separated into a plate of shells and a plate of shrimp meat. Then he'd dump a bunch of cocktail sauce on and eat the whole pile with a fork. The entire operation took less than 5 minutes. Then he'd do it again and then he'd decide what to order for dinner.
Yes. We used to go there a lot when I was a kid.Was that an Abdow's in Wethersfield where the Tilted Kilt was? As a kid I remember some kind of large figure outside, maybe holding a burger.
Why? I like the kid and want him here btw. I just don’t think this recruitment is all that different from a Castle, McNeeley, Mullins, Reibe recruitment. It’s not like we need the in-state kid to win. Or that CT even has a fertile enough talent base to make in-state recruitments that importantThis feels like the most important recruitment for Hurley since Clingan.
Yes. We never made it to the Tilted Kilt because the staff were all friends of my buddy's daughters. Was that an Abdow's in Wethersfield where the Tilted Kilt was? As a kid I remember some kind of large figure outside, maybe holding a burger.

Because no great NBA type player from CT the staff wants should ever go anywhere other than UConn. Why? I like the kid and want him here btw. In State kids are nothing more than a nice story, but always good to keep so they don’t turn into studs elsewhere (camby, two kids at PC). Home grown kids probably bring some added pride into the locker room. Why? I like the kid and want him here btw. Nice story yes, but unlike the past not a must.In State kids are nothing more than a nice story, but always good to keep so they don’t turn into studs elsewhere (camby, two kids at PC). Home grown kids probably bring some added pride into the locker room.
There is a lot of prep school talent in CT and into NE.
It hasn’t been a must for going on close to 30 years.Nice story yes, but unlike the past not a must.
The world is our oyster now.
Yep.It hasn’t been a must for going on close to 30 years.
