Rutgers was just tired from their long trip South

Would ville be better or worse if behanen and ware were playing? Obviously they add talent but Harrell might not have exploded and behanen seems like a potential locker room problem.

Looks like addition by subtraction in the case of Behanan. Kudos to Pitino for getting that right.

UCF down 3 at half to Cincy, Mick Cronin at halftime interview with Andy Katz "We have to play like we want to be here or we're going to lose". Really hope UConn comes out and plays well with intensity. Sad that we even have to question whether they're going to come out fired up or not (which I think is more a personalities on this team issue versus conference issue)

wow sykes is a helluva player. Very smart/unselfish, which we had him.

Has McBride played tonight? Has he gotten any meaningful minutes besides those he played vs. UConn?

He's playing with 6 minutes left in a one point game. Love that kid. I want to take him to Waffle House for some biscuits and gravy.

Did Mick just flip the ole bird to the ref?!?! Gotta love that guy.

UCF won't go away. TIE GAME!!

JJ got away with a big time hook then they rewarding him with a questionable goal tending call as well.
Wow then it looked like a flagrant on Rubles...refs reviewing it now

Isaiah Sykes for UCF is a stud. I expect UCF, Houston, Temple to make strides next year in this conference.
I hope you right. I think UCF is a sleeping giant - their football program over achieved big time this year, and I can't believe i'm going to say this, but are they poised to be the leader in the immediate future football-wise? They have a huge campus (like over 60,000 students) and seem like they will surpass USF in no time...

I'd rather play Cincy should UConn beat Memphis.

This McBride fellow is going to eat us alive.

Wow, I just turned the game on and am shocked to see UCF tied with Cinci. A lot of upsets today. As much as I would like to advance as far in the AAC tourney as possible, I'm not sure I like seeing the top of the AAC go down at the hands of the Conference bottom feeders. SMU's loss to Houston IMO was not a good thing. UConn's best shot at improving our seeding won't be helped by beating a UCF team, if we get by Memphis tonight, but by beating a highly ranked Cinci team.

I think he swished all his FTs against us!

and Kasey Wilson has bricked two wide open threes in the last minute...come on UCF!

I am at work and do not get ESPNU.

I am watching ESPN and ESPN2 hoping for scroll updates and am getting nothing on Cincinnati-UCF. I am getting basket by basket updates on the scroll for Oklahoma-Baylor.

They have been pretty solid the past 6 or so years in football. Last year was their best season but they've had solid records/good bowl wins. Football should break down like this next season:

Tier 1:

UCF
Cincy
Houston
ECU

Tier 2:

UConn
Tulane
Tulsa
Navy
USF
SMU

Tier 3:

Temple
Memphis

In terms of overall athletic departments I think UCF and UConn will be the two with the largest budgets no doubt. Will be interesting to track their rise

Yikes, on those FTs by the big fellah. Good thing it was a flagrant and they get the ball back. What a squander by UCF. They could be tied with the ball instead down 2 and it's now going the other way.

Ucf has had a few shots to really put the game pressure on cinci by taking the lead and just can't get over the hump. Too bad.

Missed free throws again?

USF, Temple, and UCF missed huge free throws last night. SMU did as well today in the 2nd half.

Mick Cronin congratulated his buddy Kevin Willard. Are these guys family friends? Maybe they're related?

Whatever happened to the new foul rules this year? Seems that has fallen to the wayside a bit over the last 6 weeks.

.-.
At work, at the mercy of watching ESPN and ESPN2, hoping for some Cincy-UCF highlights, still none. 1 seed survives and it's not news apparently.

The officiating in this Louisville/Houston game is comically bad. All one sided in favor of Louisville. No shock TV Ted Valentine is in the middle of the it.

Best friends, they were on the staff together at Louisville before Willard left for Iona and Cronin left for Murray State.

it is ridiculous how louisville isnt called for these fouls, they're reaching in, smacking, arm bars, and groping houston

There's no doubt louisville is way better, but if anyone else is watching this game right now, terrible calls all over the place. Houston has 14 fouls vs ville's 6. unreal.

This game is really really making me want to win tonight and take them out bigtime tomorrow, screw cheering for houston.
