That's been abundantly clear the past few minutes. Belmont can score at will inside.

Temple was playing good D, getting steals, getting into transition, and Belmont missed a couple shots. Temple took control of the game.

Then Temple put it's subs in. Oof. Missed defensive assignments, throwing the ball away. 0 threat to score. Reminded me of UConn.

So Belmont settled down and hit 2 layups/inside shots. Temple couldn't get out in transition. They had to play in the half court, and then Rose would do a spin move and force a floater, it'd miss, Alston missed 4 straight 3s, and Belmont would come down and hit a 3. Game over.
 
Don't be surprised if the AAC goes 0-4 in this tourney. None of the teams were really that good.

Looks like Dunphy will be done tonight. Belmont is the far better coached team in this game...very tough and disciplined. Temple is a train wreck.

If you thought Temple was a train wreck when forced to execute in the halfcourt...you just wait for Houston.

How bad do you have the be to finish in 9th in this league?

UCF can’t make a FT which may doom them if the kid from VCU is healthy. That’s a literal toss up. Houston is going to win at least a game, and I think Cincinnati will get at least one too.

If Cinci dumps that game to Iowa... yuck.

She's on TruTV tonight, not ESPN. She was a studio analyst for them throughout the tourney last year as well.

Support Uconn not the conference need to be in it for ourselves being loyal to conference affiliation is why were in the situation that were in.
 
The NCAA gives the AAC a gift bid... against the second best team in the OVC and Temple gets punked.

I agree the winner has a good shot against Maryland.

Uh, UConn have left the Big East if they were offered. There’s no such thing as loyalty in conference realignment.
