Figured we can have a spot to (hopefully) pump up our league. For now, we can only benefit from a good showing.

As for tonight, I hope Temple blows the doors off Belmont. For the league and Fran.

I want it to be a good game. It's good for the NCAA that Belmont got an at-large over Clemson/NCState/Indiana/Texas, and a slaughter might mean the committee is less likely to take a team like that in the future.

True, valid point. Guess get a good showing wouldn’t be so bad. Still want to see Fran go out with one win

Me too. A good, close game ending in a win might get Temple warmed up for Maryland. They can beat Maryland.

Great defense there at the end of the half by Temple.

Whoever wins this game has a very good chance of beating Maryland. The BIG 10 is vastly overrated this year aside from Michigan, Michigan State and maybe Purdue. I don’t see even those teams being able to hold their own against the top of the ACC. I guess time will tell. I think the final 4 will likely be 2 ACC teams, maybe 1 from the SEC and another wildcard (possibly Gonzaga, another
ACC or SEC team). The BIG 10 and Big 12 both seem weak this year.

You guys are talking each ofher into Temple winning twice.... impressive.
A slaughter. They literally might be the only people in the country who thinks Temple will slaughter Belmont.

NC State and Clemson aren’t 40 slots ahead of Temple in the Pomeroys by accident. They might beat Belmont but NC State and Clemson are both better than both of these teams.

Want vs think are two different concepts. Glad you have second grade comprehension skills.

Temple’s chances are entirely dependent on Alston catching fire . . .

Because the idea of Temple slaughtering Belmont shouldn't really cross your mind. Nobody is really picking Temple to beat Belmont.
I’ve got the George Constanta squinting ability when it comes to picking brackets. I think I see a team that can beat Duke...wait no, that’s just Temple...

As a fan I would rather see Belmont get a chance rather than some of these mediocre power 5 teams. I get the whole kenpom argument about who may be theoretically better and mlre deserving. I mean Oklahoma was 7-11 in a subpar Big 12 and they are a 9 seed. I remember when the ACC honks used to complain when a Big East team made it when they were a game or 2 below 500 in conference. Now teams 4 games below 500 in conference are 9 seeds? Gimme a break. I'd rather see NC State in over someone like Oklahoma rather than Belmont.

Temple is better than Belmont. Just need to keep Rose on the court.

That’s as bad a call as you will ever see. No advantage at all.

Lemme steal your dunk for contact in the backcourt when the ball is gone.

Temple has more individual talent, but Belmont is the better team. Temple has zero inside presence, offensively and defensively.
