That was a well struck hit down the line… we need him in he is fine ….
I thought so as well…that would have been a very good play, had he made it. He kept it from going down the line so he did save a base or 2 there.

These wins against bottom feeders are killing our RPI. Down again. The one, and only, UConn program hurt by leaving the AAC for the Big East (aka Least in baseball).

I thought he was the complete package, but when we're up by one heading into the last inning maybe a defensive change?
Huber just missed 9 games w/ plantar fasciitis. Yesterday was his first game back - he has a .983 Fielding % before today. He has saved more errors than he has committed over the past two years.

If there is someone better at fielding that position on this team, I suppose Coach would. I don’t think there is. Plus, you give up that bat if you go bottom 9 or extras.

Not liking that change … he is back need his offense, defense and leadership. One play he stopped from going down right field line for a double… .983 fielding % at first. We won!

Much prefer these wins against teams like this rather than losses. The worst teams in MLB frequently beat the best teams. This is college baseball. Congratulations to UConn for a gutsy win over a team that wouldn't quit.

Of course wins trump losses. That doesn't mitigate the fact that wins hurt the RPI.
