After being tied, Arizona scored to go up 2. Several empty possessions. UA has possession w/ 35.6 sec left (pending a review on the ball being tipped out of bounds).
 
Foul or attempt good defense and prevent a shot?
 
OMG! McDonald stepped on the end line. Then, WSU can't take advantage of the turnover.
 
Aari got tackled but the ref called a TO before the foul. Then WSU turned it back over.
 
Ethridge might have a point complaining about a no call there. It was close.
 
Now, WSU will have to foul and hope for a FT miss.

They already fouled didn't they? There's been so many breaks in the action lately I'm kinda lost on where we're at.

edit--I guess they didn't, but now they did. McDonald to the line. Split her last pair.

Aari missed another. Hit 1 of 2, 60-57 w/ 27.8 left.

McDonald was awesome in the first half but not very good in the second half. That could be said of all of the Cats. Absolutely awful 2nd half.
 
Bela w/ an O board and fouled on the put back attempt. That took A LOT of time. Down to 7.4 sec.

Well...I guess I got my defensive grinder after all. Didn't look like it would go that way when UA scored 22 in Q1 and 40 in the first half.
 
TWO lane violations, one for each team, in the last 10 seconds of this one.
 
Reese missed both FTs, another lane violation on the 2nd one. Really weird finish to this game. Who wants to win it? WSU ball w/ 5.6 sec left, down 2.

Murakete fouled out right at the end, so did Molina #2 who gave the Cougs some good minutes. Can the Leger-Walkers take over? Can McDonald get back on track after disappearing for most of the last 20 minutes?
 
Arizona scored 7 in Q4! :eek: 20 in the 2nd half. Ugh.
 
WSU draws first blood in OT. First lead of the game for the Cougars.

Cougs are a great story and I should be getting behind them...but I just can't do it. Maybe if UW didn't suck so much I would feel more charitable.

If so, Washington State will be the 158th team to be ranked in the AP poll since its inception in 1977.

69-67, Arizona has a chance to tie or win w/ 15 seconds left. They really don't deserve this one.

I know how you feel. I just find it very difficult to root for UNC in any sporting endeavor if NC State is having an off year. Heck, I never root for UNC in anything. Period.

I don't have such animosity toward Duke...but I just cannot stomach those Blue Bellies over in Chapel Hill.
