Arizona does need to actually live up to the preseason hype and the win over UCLA at home to validate the lofty views many fans and media have heaped on the Wildcats. The WSU story line is nice though and I hope the "Cougs" can keep that going.

Mr. Heister is an interesting character. He does a little bit of work for Pac 12 Network, I think pretty much exclusively covering Washington St., but various different sports. When he's working for P12N he's a fairly normal, run of the mill broadcaster. His real job is covering Gonzaga men's bball games on ROOTSports. When he's calling a GU game, it's like he's an entirely different person. He's got an odd style that most Zags fans can't stand.

Arizona hasn't looked as good as last year, I think a major reason for that is they haven't had the same defensive intensity. They seem to have rediscovered it today. The D has been nasty so far. WSU is making things difficult for UA's offense as well. Looking like a defensive grinder today.

Arizona has managed to put up 22 pts in Q1 in a fairly slow paced, low possession game. Most efficient I've seen them all year. McDonald has it going, 8 points already. 22-11 lead.

5-0 run by WSU less than a minute into Q2 forces a TO by Barnes. McDonald is getting a rest, might not be able to leave her out for very long.

WSU cut it 6 twice, but Arizona just exploded to go up 16. When the 3 is falling for them, it really changes their outlook. McDonald has 13, Reese has 9.

Thanks, I have been doing an assessment of the top 10 freshman (or so) and I have Ware on the list though she's close to the bottom in stats when comparing. She has nice stats, just pales in comparison to the top 3 of Clark, Bueckers and Westbeld.

Oh, Bella just picked up foul #4 right before the end of Q3. That's huge, she's been carrying their offense this half.

Arizona keeps going kinda brain dead at the end of quarters. Cougs missed a bunny that could've cut it to 7.

I think Arizona has more than a 5 minute scoring drought. Lead is down to 5, Cougs have had quite a few chances to get even closer.
