Coleman Coliseum, where they are playing tonight, is their newest basketball arena, and it opened in 1968. It replaced Foster Auditorium for the men's program: Foster remained the facility for women's basketball and volley ball until recently I believe.

Foster Auditorium is much older, opening back in the 1930s I believe. It was the building that earned some infamy from the Alabama Governor George Wallace in 1963 who stood blocking the front entrance barring access to two black students. I think the Tide WBB played there until 2016 or so, so that may be the older facility you're remembering. It only held some 3,000 capacity....

They have been a pretty good team with low personal fouls and low turnovers into tonight's games, but they also have played a fairly soft schedule to this point, so perhaps they haven't been tested yet. They only have 2 TOs thus far however, so doing well there.....
