Hmmmmm... this sounds familiar.Your watching a lot of Big 10 teams without their top players right now

Don't like to obsess about UCONN's injuries, but at the risk of whining, it seems like everybody has forgotten about the loss of Aubrey for at least this season.Wait, are you saying it’s tough for a top team to be successful without their top player? Wow, who knew…
This seems to say: Uconn, with Fudd, CD, Dorka, ONO, Nika, Edwards have a more than fair shot at FF and maybe a bit further. It Seems that every top team is one player away from slipping below 10.IN is just not the same team without Holmes in the lineup.
With Paige, CD, Fudd in their bracket, would you want to be them?? Add Dorka, ONO, Nika, Edwards on any given day that team spells DISASTER for many top teams. If they get Holmes back, I wouldn’t want to be in the same bracket come March.
Even before.Your watching a lot of Big 10 teams without their top players right now
They were hurt by with ball handling and shooters/scorers. Things she never provided. Hopefully she has taken the year to work on those.Don't like to obsess about UCONN's injuries, but at the risk of whining, it seems like everybody has forgotten about the loss of Aubrey for at least this season.
The folks on FOX seem to have forgotten she exists.
Maybe cause she's not a starter, maybe cause she's not traveling with the team or sitting on the bench with the other wounded warriors.
Certainly not faulting her for that since her back injury might make it uncomfortable or actually painful to do so.
Hope she can make it to Senior Night, so she can get an idea of how much her play and spirit are appreciated. Even though she's a Junior.
Her aggressiveness, athleticism and speed are sorely missed this season, especially in the wake of the other injuries to the roster.

Thanks for my oversight correction. You just put the ribbon on my assumption/hope/desire that a Uconn team of 8 with Paige, CD, ONO, Fudd in the lead could have a good chance of getting Geno into the championship game. This isn't the December Uconn team any longer!! Thanks.AND. EW
I miss Aubrey she makes this team better and they miss her toughness out there. I wish her a quick and full recovery .Don't like to obsess about UCONN's injuries, but at the risk of whining, it seems like everybody has forgotten about the loss of Aubrey for at least this season.

We're are probably all adults in this board and the occasional obscenity isn't going to raise many eyebrows. So if, for instance, you said Nebraska kicked the out of Indiana, it might not be the greatest way to express it in public but not a big deal. Bitch slap is offensive and mysoginist unless you are talking about your dog. And we don't slap our dogs do we?I texted my friends and said that Nebraska kind of b*tch slapped Indiana (not sure if I'm allowed to say that). Regardless, great win by Nebraska! They are a very solid team with some good wins this year (well one anyway - a beatdown of Michigan).
No offense, but the people that continually bring up Aubrey, as though UConn has cleaned out her locker and taken her off the roster, need to move along. Aubrey hasn’t played a minute this year. While she brings things that could be helpful to UConn this year, especially rebounding, her not playing isn’t in the same universe as the loss of Paige, Caroline, Liv, Nika, and Dorka. The team had a lot of time to adjust to her being out, unlike the others. Can we stop talking about Aubrey as though she were booted off the team by the fans?Don't like to obsess about UCONN's injuries, but at the risk of whining, it seems like everybody has forgotten about the loss of Aubrey for at least this season.

to add to that, when the team wasn't losing they never brought up Aubrey. It was until Paige got hurt, NOW people brought her up. Again she is a dependable player, but she is averaging 10 minutes a game, people are acting like this was the defensive player of the year and playing 30+ min.No offense, but the people that continually bring up Aubrey, as though UConn has cleaned out her locker and taken her off the roster, need to move along. It's interesting that other teams are allowed to have a key player be injured and that be used to explain a loss. But when that happens to NC State, we just all say "Hey! NC State was upset! Woohoo!". And then everyone do a happy dance.Last year, #6 seed Michigan dismantled #3 seed Tennessee in the 2nd round and then took #2 Baylor to overtime.
#4 seed Indiana won its first two rounds by 31 and 22 points and then upset #1 seed NC State in the Sweet 16.
So exactly how were these two teams overrated last year?
How in the world does my post do that? It's interesting that other teams are allowed to have a key player be injured and that be used to explain a loss. But when that happens to NC State, we just all say "Hey! NC State was upset! Woohoo!". And then everyone do a happy dance.
There was a reason we lost to a full-strength Indiana team last season, and it was the loss of Kayla Jones, who we lost in the opening round game of the NCAAT.
No attack but have to question anyone who would slander any player that can and is needed to play 25% of the game. This being at the level of UConn / D1. The sixth, seventh and even eighth man is needed to win a NC. That and young people develop at different stages,or maybe cause she was averaging 10 minutes
