That's what I did except witg a 5 wood that I use as a driver 80% of the time. Partly because I am just so comfortable with the 7i I feel like I could do anything

Finished 36 in Fri/Sat event for FIL.
A few tried putting with drivers (not during) and acquitted themselves well. I was iffy.
Best feeling for me was to play in my FIL’s crew and on several (but not enough) holes arrived on the green with them each for par 3-6 feet away.
The after party for him was amazing, hysterical, first time the group invited all spouses.
