If this game is in Hartford, we lose.

Anyway, attendance is a major issue.

Win Saturday, beat Syracuse and attendance will be ok.

That's asking a lot from this team though.

This could be the end of KO if things don't improve fast.

"It's strictly business."

The crowd in Hartford got them past Stony Brook and was twice the size of tonight.

We don't play team basketball, there seems to no plan, bad fundamentals and a general lack of entertaining play. Not to mention the program just looks like people aren't that invested in going all out. Effort is casual and we start games in a funk with regularity. Our fans are used to us being able to run a fast break and that is not happening either. It is hard to watch in general and when you bring in the thought that the team may play like it is their first time on the floor together why would folks want to make the effort?

Honestly it didn't seem that small. The end opposite sudents was empty bit it seemed like 5

Doesn't look that bad to Me

Now I understand why they re-did the lighting so that the upper sections aren't visible -- it's slightly less obvious and embarrassing when nobody shows up.

Student section packed tonight
There's more than 3,800 students in Storrs.

Were you really at the game Auggy?

It didn't look like 3800 on TV either.

Not sure the end game - but based on the football games and what they announced - I believe they are now publishing actual PAID attendance.

Clearly they aren't publishing distributed tickets, and clearly they aren't publishing actual attendance.

Only conclusion I can come to is for some reason they have moved to actual paid attendance.

I haven't come up with a single possible motivation yet.

The should let them in free on slow nights. You want students to buy fan seats?

Yes. That’s my pic above.
I’ll be there Saturday at XL and Tuesday at MSG too. Because, you know, I’m a UConn basketball fan.
Any insights on interaction between KO and the players?

Seriously, a couple of days before we should start selling tickets by section to students a a few bucks more than the normal student rate. I'd like to see us line the sidelines with students the way they do at Cameron.

Oh God - I have a meeting that ends in Hartford at 2:30 on Tuesday and have a 9:00 am meeting on Wednesday. I already have a hangover just thinking about it.

Yeah it’s gonna be rough. I’m in office next day even earlier.

This will never happen

Yeah actually . Give me a few . I’m still on way home . I live 70 min from Gampel. Don’t want to type a book with my dad driving.

Was 3 yards from him all night and paid attention

Pisses me off when people complain about student attendance.

I am a student, and the student section was packed. We came in at 7 exactly and had to sit nearly at the top row. And it's like that pretty much every Gampel game. The Colgate game, they started denying people entry into the student section because it was overfilled. They had to send students to the general sections, where no one was. So stop with this myth that students dont show up. Look at the student section each game.

How about we talk about the general fans. Barely a soul in the upper sections.
