UConn baseball is at the start of a busy early April. They have 12 games in a stretch of 16 days, with no more than 1 day off at a time, and including 1 doubleheader. Pitching and bullpen management going to be interesting.

KENT, Ohio - The No. 25 UConn baseball team (19-6) gutted out an 8-6 victory in 10 innings at Kent State on Saturday afternoon at Schoonover Stadium.

Coach Penders says the first half of the game, the UConn batters looked like a continuation or sequel of yesterday, and then they made some mid game adjustments, including having everyone choke up on the bat. They looked more like themselves with the bats the second half of the game.
