Bottom 1st, Gallagher strands 2 runners on base after a leadoff single and an infield error by David Smith. 2 strikeouts for Gallagher. 2-0 UConn.

UConn offense continues to pop the ball in the air for outs. All three outs that inning were pop outs. Only one out for UConn so far has been a ground out.
 
Bottom 4th, Gallagher puts down the side in order, picks up 2 more strikeouts for 7 on the game with no walks. He is at 65 pitches.
 
Top 5th, Matt Donlan with a 1 out single, UConn's first base runner since the Dana home run in the first inning. UConn fails to take advantage of an infield error, stranding runners on the corners. 2-1 UConn.
 
Bottom 5th, Gallagher's first walk of the game and a single puts runners on the corners with no outs. An rbi ground out ties the game at 2. Gallagher gets two fly outs to get out of the inning with no more runs scored. Gallagher at 88 pitches.

Ian Cooke and Brendan O'Donnell were warming up that inning.
