Top 8th, Hague pinch runs for Fedko. Don't like taking Fedko's bat out of the lineup.
 
Sure enough, the pinch running doesn't score a run, so now Fedko is out of the game. The ultimate short sighted strategy.

Moriarty leads off the 9th with a walk. He's been on base 3 times today, good for him, especially considering his struggles at the plate this season.

Both Stefanski and Winkel greatly improved at the plate this season. It's a big difference from the .220 hitters that UConn had in the second half of the lineup last year.
