Oh my god...next two runners reach. This team can be very scary late in games, nothing easy.

UConn now has only 1 AAC road series left, with 3 AAC home series to play. The road series is against last place Memphis. Overall they have 11 home games and 6 road games left in the regular season.

Crazy good series win down two weekend starters, your number three and clean up hitter in last game.

Great to see C-Mo come up big in a couple games. Had to be hard to lose his job earlier in season and instead of sulking cane up huge.

Yea, this team has much to be proud of.

You know who doesn't have anything to be proud of? FAU. They had a bad call go against them in a tie game in the top of the 9th inning against Rice. They responded by stalling several times in the bottom of ninth (with two Rice players on and no one out) to force a curfew tie. As soon as the clock struck 4:15, FAU players sprinted off the field.

Proud to root for a program that would never do that.

More upcoming schedule tidbits. UConn has 4 more games against teams that currently have an RPI of over 200. Three games at Memphis (214) and a game against Sacred Heart (250). Everyone else on the remaining schedule currently has an RPI of 120 (Holy Cross) or better.

This team is winning games that were Ls last year but it's getting weird and squeaky lately
Still, being down folks this weekend it was time to show some onions and they sure did

This team is tough as nails. Beat Cinnci without starters 1 and 3. Without 3 and 4 hitters. This is a trademark Penders team. At times they are infuriating because they raise the expectation and make things difficult, but they show toughness and that is hard to beat.
