23K season tix sold...

I wear my UCONN shirts most every where also. Disney World, March 2004, getting on a ride and the attendent asked how the gals winning streak was going. I said I really didn't care too much about the streak as we really wanted to win the championship.

Driving through Harvard Square on my way back to the office one day a guy on a bike scared the crap out of me by saying "Go UConn" as he passed by my open window...stickers on rear and side windows, license plate frame and emergency bad hair day hat in the rear window. Also just came back from vacation and saw a guy in Santa's Village with UConn gear on. My wife ribs me all the time about not owning any other t-shirts but UConn.

Bought my six month old daughter at least six outfits from the coop. If there is a market for season tickets at My Gym you can expect a spike in sales shortly.

I saw a guy today with a new UCONN logo sticker on the back of his truck and it looked awesome. I've been looking online for it but can't find it, even searched "stickers" on the Coop site and got nothing. Anyone know where to get them?

Would love to see them all over CT roads like I do the rutgirls R when driving through NJ.

Buy season tickets. The sticker comes along with them.

I've had season tickets for 16 years.

Was the sticker in the envelope the tickets came in? All I received was my tickets, the fan guide and my blue lot passes.

Yup...

Here - print this and use double stick tape.

Yes, in the package with the season tx.

FYI the straight UConn one came in an alumni mailing a little while ago. Not sure where to grab one now

I got that one and another one with just UCONN in an oval a couple of weeks back also. Problem is with tinted glass you can't really see them.

I would call it pathetic if by the time of the MD game we don't have close to 30k sold. This is probably the best home schedule UConn has ever had and it is sad we can't do better than this.
Two 5-7 season and one of the worst offenses in football will do that to you. Particularly in a soft economy.

This is the year we start to turn that around (one way or another).

So, the question remains....How many season tix are sold now?

Around the time they announced the 23k there was a tweet saying there were like 200 Top of the Rent seats left. Soooo at least 23,200.

I got that one for a couple of the donations.

And there were 400 students left. If you count mini plans as 3/7ths of a season ticket - i'd guess like 27-28k.

Is this a good number for us this year against this schedule or is it a bit disappointing?

This year I'm actually more interested to see who shows up. You can sell tickets to see Maryland and Michigan. Can you get people to come see Towson and USF?

To your question if that estimate it close it's an OK result. The upside seemed higher on the schedule but working in Hartford there is zero buzz about the season. None.

The answer to this question also depends on how many season tickets were sold to Michigan fans. I guess we won't find out until the season starts. If there are empties all over the place for every game but Michigan and yellow everywhere on 9/21, then 27K is incredibly disappointing. If Maryland sells out along with RU and UL, and USF and Memphis pull in the high 30s or sellout, then this is very encouraging.

How's that for a non-commital response?

My over/under on season tickets sold to Michigan fans is 200.

I agree there is no buzz to this season. I work all over the state myself though my office is out of WTBY there is no buzz. I personally, put a lot of it on our plight in conference realignment. I've had all kinds of people talk to me about the demise of the Big East and ask "what conference are they in now?" The last two years results couldn't have happened at a worst possible time. Oh well. On to Thursday.

Have we ever settled whether student tickets count towards season tickets sold?
