I agree, her production increases in the SEC. I was impressed. She is going to be really good for Iowa. Kind of unexpected
Very unexpected Iowa getting an SEC transfer and one this highly ranked. Well, CC is a donor/ booster now. 😀

Krump has committed to Duke. McGill is rumored to have signed with LSU (unconfirmed report). Great List Thanks!

You’re a HC trying to manage your NIL budget to bring in multiple players. Among your needs is a one year center. Assume both players want to play for you and you can only have one.

Audi Crooks cost (x)
At what fraction of (x) does Gracie Merkle become a better option for your program?

Other than the 2-3 inches in height, not sure if Merkle is a better option. Her mobility isn't all that great from what I recall.

Sure, that’s why I figured there would be a discount. But at some point, Merkle becomes a better option for any budget. 3/4x? 1/2x? 1/5?

Merkle is definitely a better option when it comes to cost, but as to how much impact she'd truly have (depending on the team), I'm still skeptical. Their stats defensively are similar in several areas. The only advantage I saw was in blocks. So for me, I'm still 🤷‍♀️

Add in Woliczko and they’re easily a Top 10 team and contending for a Big Ten title.
McKenna plays like a coach's kid (and her dad used to coach) so she doesn't give 2 cents about her own stats. She does close to everything right; now she just needs some experience. Having her is like having an all-conference lineman at all 5 spots on your Oline. Your foundation is more than solid.

I’d pump the brakes on Iowa contending for a BIG title. Since the LA schools joined the BIG, no non-LA school has contended for a BIG title, regular season or tourney. Not sure that changes next year, unless USC has a serious 1-ball problem. In that case perhaps Michigan can contend.

Bella Hines dad wanted more money. LSU didn’t give it so they left and TCu outbid Texas tech for her services. This is not about playing time… ignore the lip service her dad is giving.
This is very incorrect. Please stop reading everything you see on twitter. Most are saying this stuff (engagement-bait)

Is Madison St. Rose of Princeton worthy of a mention?
If so, she's apparently visiting Note Dame this week.

This caught my eye early this morning. Ava Black, a freshman 5'11" combo guard from Tabor Academy and Auburn, New Hampshire has declared for the portal out of Vandy. Top New England player who is probably caught betwixt and between for playing time with Aubrey Galvin coming on strong at point guard and Mikayla Blakes at shooting guard.

She was heavily recruited by key Ivy League teams, as well as Fairfield. Black was also offered by Carla Berube when she was at Princeton and Aaron Rousell when he was at Richmond. Will they still be interested now that they're at Northwestern and UVA, respectively?

.-.
Good last 24-hour stretch for you. What's for lunch?

Good question. Salmon patties, green beans, and yams or a Jimmy John's Greek Gyro with potato chips... Or perhaps a burger with French fries topped with tartar sauce.
