2026 Transfer portal

Being women’s college basketball has turned into a big business for, free enterprise operation for the athletes, why doesn’t the college’s involved sign the athletes to a four year binding contract or however many years for a transfer athlete. Any answers to this query would be greatly appreciated and I’m certain informative.

And aside from the Final Four disaster it was never solely the Booker show against good teams. In 13 of their 14 games against Sweet 16 opponents, someone else besides Madison scored 14+ for them. And in 7 of the 14 games someone other than Booker led the team in scoring. Based on your comments I'm guessing you didn't watch Texas at all this year aside from the Final Four. Texas was a very good offensive team this season.

And it's rich that a UCONN fan is calling another coach a whiner after the antics Geno pulled last weekend.

In an earlier post I shared a video from College Game Day this past weekend where the contract question was discussed amongst ESPN analysts and Coach Calipari. Per Jay Bilas, who is also a lawyer, does a good job at breaking it down.

There used to be a contract called a National Letter of Intent that is now defunct. The below is an AI generated response to a query about NLIs. I know this is half an answer to your question but honestly I think universities are making their own contracts now so I’m not sure how to answer

I like Mark Campbell, think he’s a good coach, but the transfer portal announcement-to-commitment pipeline is faster at TCU than most anywhere else.

I thought the board discussed that last season. He's (or his assistants) allegedly tampering. Nothing will become of it, though. He'll continue to land the big fish as long as the money flows through TCU.

At some point, those donors are going to expect Final Fours and national titles. We'll see then if he's up to to the task.

  • Can play the 4 without needing touches

Any rumors of Liv McGill and LSU? She’s in the portal as DNC and is probably the only PG prospect definitively better than Richard (aside from K Johnson who’s currently at South Carolina)
