I continue to think the place to really make your mark is recruiting rising sophomores and juniors. Multi-year keeps, most who probably don't want to transfer more than 1x. Can still cultivate culture but with proven commodities. Like a Reed, like a Demary.
Why it makes zero sense to get panties in a knot over HS'ers anymore. I know it's hard to give up because there is something really intoxicating about following the circuit and seeing what Uconn can land, but it's just not where coaches bread their butter anymore.
