Moving on! I must say anything less than a playoff team is a failure.
This one surprised me, mostly because I figured Neal would prefer to be anywhere else and a one year minimum contract should have been available somewhere for someone his size.Interesting Neal is back. Thoughts were he needed a change of scenery and would be moving on. Instead change of scenery was an entirely new coaching staff. Hope it works out
I can't complain about any free agent deal, especially a reclamation project, on a veteran's minimum. This one surprised me, mostly because I figured Neal would prefer to be anywhere else and a one year minimum contract should have been available somewhere for someone his size.
He very well could become a solid guard in this league and I believe the prior staff had no ability to develop offensive linemen.
It's all about the money. He's trying to leverage his way to a bigger contract.Patriots fan trying to understand this. New coach...ok, but you've got a nice young QB, some really solid pieces and good draft capital. Dallas is a train wreck, Philly is declining and can't keep paying all their guys and Washington is a house of cards. Giants can be a playoff team with a bit of luck.
