Restricted player contracts are for players who have been under a W contract for less than three seasons. They may negotiate only with their own team, and as long as they receive a qualifying offer, they have to take it or sit out the season. Players end up on restricted player contracts two ways: (1) they were previously waived while on a rookie contract and then signed a full season contract with a new team; or (2) a lot of European players end up on restricted player contracts because they sit out seasons to play overseas and often come in having been undrafted.

On the Valkyries, we have both: Chen and Amihere are the first category, and Salaun and Rupert are the second.

Should the blue reference be for "reserved?" If so, very thorough explanation and appreciated. If not, which one is?
 
Ahhhh..... The season comes to a close in Dallas and, with an assist by the million dollar coach, the Wing notch their 10th win.

Nate, as he did in the previous loss, rested starters. Unlike Reeve and Brondello who elected to win out, the innovative and no longer presumptive COY goes 2-3 in Sept with 3 point win over Sun and a couple of 6 point wins over the Fever and Mystic.

Hope this innovative approach pays dividends in the first round

Fantastic accomplishment for Collier. For good measure, A'ja Wilson is right there too with 50.4/39.3/85.4 entering tonight's game. Her volume of 3pt shots is lower, but both have had remarkable seasons nonetheless.
 
No one is kinda talking about this but Kelsey Plum went on She Bird's podcast. It was a great episode. But she did kinda talk crazy and say I was the glue in Vegas. And basically was saying I was one of if not the most important piece. And since then I don't think the Aces have lost. Lololol. Maybe it's just a coincidence Idk I thought it was kinda wild. And I do think Vegas is a legit finals threat. They'll only play one of Minnesota and Nyl to win the championship.
 
I think this has been bandied about a bit, but have we seen the last of Angel Reese in a Sky uniform? Hasn't played since the suspension for her 8th technical foul. Was suspended for half a game after that by the team, but didn't appear at all. There was something about a back injury maybe, but last several games have been listed as DNP--coaches decision.
 
Good thing the Sparks didn't have a possible playoff berth on the line tonight, they are getting smoked by Vegas. Not that it would've mattered much, but they are down 2 starters--Jackson and Allemand. I guess the only positive is Barker started tonight and has 15 points. She pretty much disappeared from the rotation the second half of the season.
 
Becky ain't resting no starters. 3 starters over 30 minutes. A'ja just missed a 20/20 game by 1 rebound. A'ja also was still in the game until the 2 minute mark w/ the Aces up by 32.
 
Kinda weird, Q2 and Q3 combined only had the Aces +3, but Q1 they were +16 and Q4 +9,
 
Dang, Brink got her nose busted up. That's why she only played 5 minutes, I was wondering.
