Draft 2016 when Breanna Stewart was #1, Moriah #2, Morgan #3. The draft was in CT and the team was in attendance. If you look at footage when Stewie’s name is called, in the back, you can see Gabby Williams and Kia Nurse jumping up and down. Other teams members where there too.
And yeah, it was great to see Q with the entire team in NY plus the coaches plus former teammates Nika and Aaliyah.
A great night for Husky Nation. What a year!

Geno mentioned some party Paige was having afterwards, so I’m guessing she’s picking up the tab for tonight’s team festivities. Also helps that you can just drive to NYC from Storrs while everyone else has to fly in from wherever.
