A rather large bunch of ND players enter the portal.
ND is left with only 3 or 4 scholarship players.
People question if this has anything to do with Ms. Hidalgo's
posture regarding other people's marital choices.

I don’t know what impact that episode had on the ND diaspora. But I have no interest in holding a teenager accountable. That letter is not meant to be an apology. it’s a plea for understanding. I accept it in that spirit.

Codio has been injured a lot, unfortunately. Redshirted her first year, and had another injury her second year. Should have 2 years of eligibility remaining:

We all remember when Barnes was the next big thing in coaching during the 2021 season after beating UConn in the national semifinals and coming within 1pt of the championship vs Stanford. Since that time, the results at AZ have been more lackluster.

After an inexplicable loss to Northern AZ in the WBIT, the AD was unwilling to either renegotiate Barnes’ contract with one year left or fire her and pay a large buyout to her. Essentially, Barnes would be twisting in the wind at AZ if she stayed for the 2025-26 season.

She’s lucky SMU came calling. Supposedly, there’s some big money boosters looking to turn SMU WBB into the next big thing……..

SMU- small school, big money. Perfect for the pay to play era in college sports. The fashionista coach in the Big D? Perfect fit in that regard.

I had entered the Transfer portal earlier this week from Biscuitville (due to the removal of the honey bun from the menu)..... but I've removed my name and I fully embrace the new chocolate croissant.

Hopefully she gets fully healthy. Dealt with a injury and only played 8 games. Even in the open practice, she appeared a bit gimpy. I hate to see any Duke player leave but it's understandable most of the time.
