Despite not knowing the reasons she entered the portal, I'm hoping now that she'll decide to withdraw from the portal and return to Texas. On Instagram, the players/coaches I've seen her following are from Syracuse and Minnesota.

I've seen reports that she was going to visit WV and VT, and that FL showed interest. Take all with a grain of salt, but WV/VT make sense.

There are 5325 scholarships available for WCBB. (361 teams x 15 per team)
Add in walk-ons and take out the graduating players and unused scholarships, you probably have 3500-4500 returning players.

According to Talia there have been 1525 entrants to the portal! So most likely at least 1/3 !

I agree with the bolded. She wouldn't get much PT at either program. Her best bet is to explore other Big East programs closer to where she's from.

I interpret the "moving on" to mean that those schools are no longer in consideration.

Another Texas player, Kyla Oldacre, started following Iyana on IG this weekend; wondering if she's been visiting Texas.

I'd love to see her with a team that has a chance at a deep tourney run. While I freely admit she has her fair share of limitations as a player, I'm a big fan of Iyana the person, and she can get hot from beyond the arc, which is something the Longhorns can probably use.

Coach Ralph was very open about her love for Iyana, and she was very loyal to her. The feeling appeared to be mutual, so I don't think there was anything negative involved in Iyana's decision to transfer.

Unfortunately roster pages for some programs are still a bit dated.

That's a pretty good trio. I'm not sure where that puts you in a pretty good ACC but it's a start. I hate to be that guy but just wondering with NIL, does that mean she made a certain purse from Texas and most likely will make another purse from Syracuse.

Syracuse is such a strange choice for Phelia; not sure if she has a connection to the area or coaches.
