Iowa not done yet with trying to add to their roster.
I think TDF is still upset over 2006.It kind of makes sense. Brenda is like the anti-Blue Devil: recruit over your HS recruits, treat the portal as a revolving door, give your players the green light to make their own offense, make defense optional, and watch your players have 10x the professional success of your former rival down in Durham.
Undoubtedly, he holds grudges for an infinite length of time.I think TDF is still upset over 2006.

What do you mean by “ recruit?” Offer? Vague interest? Visit? Some of you may recall that Emely was a last-minute recruit at UConn.

good point ... transfers were going so wild, I forgot about, you know, actual recruiting newsIs it recruiting or transfers?
Hasn't this been a busy week for you? Not to mention, you're thinking of creating that thread about top college prospects and WNBA success. It happensgood point ... transfers were going so wild, I forgot about, you know, actual recruiting news
Some buzz today from non-Iowa insider that Emely may be leaning towards Hawkeyes.I think whoever lands Emely Rodriguez will be very lucky. She is a substantial talent.
My bad I thought this was another U Washington commit that played with Avery Howell. I still think this is a 2025 4 star player though

Wait wait wait. What part of that is not true, and other than the last line, what part is slanderous towards Duke? My point was that somehow Brenda seems to produce so many successful pro players even though her "system" is generally less successful than Kara's has been in recent seasons.![]()
Here I was about to treat you to Cheerwine and BIscuitville if you ever passed through NC... then I read that last part
How many players have graduated from Maryland since 2020 and play in the W? $$$ talks and if you have it and recruit other teams' players 365 days a year, you can get good players. You can also lose them when you pay a current player significantly less than a new one and they find out. Not sure how much development happens at Maryland.....Wait wait wait. Coach Friese has said in previous interviews that Maryland didn't have much in the way of NIL until this past season. Not sure whether money really talked until this past season based on that statement. How many players have graduated from Maryland since 2020 and play in the W? $$$ talks and if you have it and recruit other teams' players 365 days a year, you can get good players. Iyana Moore from Vandy seems to indicate on IG that she is considering Notre Dame, UCLA, Duke, and Texas as her potential landing spots.
Yet they've only signed two transfers this offseason. Two good ones though.Coach Friese has said in previous interviews that Maryland didn't have much in the way of NIL until this past season. Not sure whether money really talked until this past season based on that statement.
Interesting. But was it truly NIL or Maryland's reputation after bouncing back from the previous season? Rhetorical question as we'll never really know.Yet they've only signed two transfers this offseason. Two good ones though.
TDF knows the above statement is true. But seeing it spelt out like this causes him more pain. But I have no doubt that he’ll recover from the disappointment, regardless of how long it takes.Wait wait wait.
