2025 Schedule

imo, next year should be floor 7 wins and the ceilings 11, no one on that schedule is impossible to beat I think we spilt Syracuse/Boston College and lose to Duke to finish 10-2.

Like the schedule. Some good opportunities to see them on the road @Syracuse and @Boston College. Seems like another bowl game is in our future
Not to sound hyperbolic, but we have an outside shot of going undefeated. If we beat Syracuse Week 2, there is a legitimate chance we would be favored in every game the rest of the way.

8 is the floor. The only four that we should have problems with are BC, Duke, Syracuse, and Air Force.

Good opportunity to build on last season’s success. No crazy mismatches. A bunch of winnable games if we play well. 3 P4 games none of which are total mismatches though Syracuse will be very tough and BC and Duke will both be favored. I’d like to go 1-2 in those 3 which would be a very good outcome. Air Force will be a neat game because we’ve never played them and they are a recognized name.

I used to be more in favor of playing bigger brands/names, but I've come around to playing a more manageable schedule and winning games.

The fact that most opponents are local-ish and with some historical opponents is also nice.

Now..if I still lived in state and was a Season ticket holders I may be signing a different tune regarding the home slate.

The home slate blows but it give us a opportunity to ramp up going into next year where the schedule is amazing.

can always be a game expect to win but just don't, we caught a few breaks against Temple and UAB just last year afterall

Our 2026 schedule is complete too because we are playing Air Force away.
My bad on the Air Force date, Uconn's season closes early ( NOV 22) but the AFA home and home (away date TBA) is what these guys have too.

Don't bogart the sauce and pass it down man. ^_^ I'll gladly take > 10 wins, but undefeated would be so friggin' sweet.

Every game on the schedule is winnable.

2025 could end up being a great season. Excited

Happy with the schedule. Chance to win a bunch of games to build on our success last year, with a bunch of local games as well. P4 games are perfect too, teams we care about and also can beat with a good game. Not the toughest schedule, but wins are most important (especially considering the gauntlet that is the 2026 schedule)

I would have preferred a lower tier team from a big conference.

I like having three ACC games, it's a shame we're not in that conference. There would have been some great regional rivalries.

Playing Air Force made this years home slate a little more palatable. Without them, it was abysmal. Not that they are amazing but compared to what we had, plus Duke, it was looking pretty bleak. At least Air Force is a name brand and service academy. Plus, I think it's the coolest one. Who doesn't love fast jets?? I also think it's cool because we've played Army and Navy a bunch but have we ever played Air Force?

Air Force was the weakest of the three service academies last year. They struggled to beat Merrimack 21-6 in their opener, then lost seven straight. They did win their last four to finish 5-7. I don't the portal does them (or any service academy) any good, so turning the ship around is a lot harder than it is for most other D-1 schools. If we're looking for wins, we're probably better off playing the AFA than Army or Navy next year.

it's an honor to play the air force academy! and at home to boot! thank you falcons :)
hopefully we get a flyover from the national guard.

go UConn
