2025 NBA Playoffs Thread

It's all a part of the game, could've, should've, would've.
No doubt. Staying on the court and effective is just as much of a skill as scoring, rebounding, and passing.

Haliburton's bad games are egregiously bad, he's gotta become more consistent
It’s weird, in the season too he goes thru long stretches averaging like 15-8, which is fine but like nowhere near his level.

yesterday was the 6th time in the last 2 playoff runs that he's scored 10 or less points, gotta be better as a "star"

Knicks can't convert a single fastbreak, it's pretty remarkable.

Turns out consistently giving the ball to the other team for fast breaks doesn't work. I've also never seen a team give up so many fast breaks off of made baskets, the Knicks defense was inconceivably bad this year

.-.
Glad Siakim got MVP. He shows up every game, underrated player for many years now.

looking forward to the Finals, they've been the 2 best teams in 2025 so no flukes. OKC will win but I think Indy will be competitive, they're probably one more scorer/creator short of winning a title.

This series should be a lot of fun, both teams want to push the ball and each goes deep enough where there should be a few games where both score in the 130's.

I also will point out that a high paced game with a good amount of transition scoring doesn't mean nobody is playing defense. I still cannot stand what Chuck Daley did to the game with the bad boy Pistons. There easily can be a better defended game that ends up 126-121 than a 48 minute wrestling match that ends up 87-81.
